to Youth and Young Adults Age K-College
Young Innovators Program
In partnership with the City of Chicago’s One Summer Chicago Youth Work Program, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese and Children’s Home and Aid, we offer young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 summer internships and 180 hours of entry level work and personal skills development. We expose interns to the mission and operations of our organization. We evaluate their knowledge, skills and abilities as well as their academic and career goals and create a body of work assignments that is intended to enhance their skills. These assignments also challenge and empower these Young innovators to use their personal knowledge and inner creativity in helping us to make necessary modifications to our programs and services more relevant to the environments in which they live, work and play.
