Community Garden

Community Garden  ATTCOM manages and maintains a community garden located at 6537 South Wood street in Chicago, IL.  The  garden serves as a workforce and job skills training opportunity for youth as well as a tool that  promotes a process of working collaboratively with partners, city and local government officials, churches,  businesses, residents of all nationalities and from all over the city and suburbs, to address issues affecting the well-being of the community.  This initiative also encourages  environmental and behavior changes that improve the physical and mental health of the West Englewood Community and brings hope to its residents.  These photos of ATTCOM’s Spring 2021 Community Engagement Event were taken and arranged into a video by Jaylen Ward; a high school student and participant in the Youth Investment Opportunity Program.
